We're happy to answer some questions for you.
What makes Platinum Bridal different from other bridal shops in Denver? At Platinum Bridal, we believe finding your wedding dress should feel exciting, personal, and completely pressure-free. We are here to guide you, not sell you. Every appointment is private and personalized, with your stylist giving you her undivided attention from start to finish. Together, you’ll discover your **style** and the gown that makes you feel beautiful, confident, and completely you. And there’s something else that sets us apart: **the owners of Platinum Bridal have more than 20 years of experience as wedding planners.** That experience gives us a unique perspective when helping you choose your gown. We understand that your dress needs to look beautiful, but we also think about the details brides don’t always consider, from the venue and ceremony setting to the season, wedding-day timeline, photography, movement, and how the gown will work with the overall vision for your wedding. You’re not just working with bridal stylists. **You’re working with wedding professionals who understand the bigger picture and can help you make a confident, informed decision about one of the most important looks of your wedding day.

Do I need an appointment to shop for a wedding dress? Yes. Appointments are required for all services at Platinum Bridal. This allows your stylist to prepare for your visit and dedicate full attention to you. You can book your appointment online or call or text us at (303) 428-8000.
How many guests can I bring to my appointment? Our Bridal Appointments accommodate the bride and up to six guests. Our Preview Appointments accommodate the bride and up to three guests. To help us create a comfortable, focused experience for every bride, we kindly ask that children under the age of 12 not attend appointments.
Which wedding dress designers do you carry? Our bridal collections include Allure Bridals, Enchanting by Mon Cheri, Kitty Chen, Martin Thornburg, and Sophia Tolli. Our Kitty Chen collection is exclusive to our store. From timeless and sophisticated to romantic, glamorous, and bold, our collections offer a range of styles to help you find the gown that feels uniquely yours.
Do you allow champagne or other alcoholic beverages during appointments? We love celebrating a YES, but we do not allow champagne or other alcoholic beverages in the boutique. Platinum Bridal does not have the appropriate licensing to serve or permit alcohol on the premises. We provide complimentary bottled water for our guests. To help us keep our boutique, furniture, carpeting, and gowns pristine, we kindly ask that guests not bring outside food or beverages into the store. This helps prevent spills, crumbs, and stains so every bride can enjoy the same beautiful, fresh, and welcoming environment.
Do you have wedding dresses available off the rack? Yes! We always have a selection of sample gowns available for purchase off the rack, with styles and discounted pricing varying throughout the year. We also work with designers who stock select gowns in certain styles and sizes. Depending on availability, this can sometimes allow us to get a brand-new gown for a bride with a shorter timeline. If your wedding is coming up quickly, let us know when you book your appointment. We can help you explore the options available for your timeframe.
How do you choose the dresses in your boutique? Twice a year, we travel to bridal markets to discover the latest collections, meet with designers, and explore gowns up close. We thoughtfully hand-select each style with our Colorado brides in mind, choosing gowns that offer beautiful details, quality craftsmanship, and a range of styles to help every bride find a dress that feels like her.
How do I start shopping for my dress? We can’t wait to meet you! The first step is to book your appointment online, or give us a call or text at (303) 428-8000. From the moment you arrive, your personal stylist will guide you through a relaxed, personalized appointment designed around your style, vision, and bridal goals. How much do your wedding dresses cost? Our new-order wedding gowns range from $1,500 to $4,500. We also offer a selection of sample gowns available for purchase off the rack, with styles and discounted pricing varying throughout the year.
Do you carry plus-size wedding dresses? Absolutely! We have one of the largest selections of plus size wedding dresses in Colorado. We believe every bride deserves beautiful options in her size. Our designers offer stunning plus-size wedding gowns up to size 32W, and our in-store bridal samples are available in sizes up to 28W.
Why do brides trust Platinum Bridal? We are honored to have been recognized as a Best of Weddings winner by The Knot and a Denver A-List winner for Best Wedding Dresses. Platinum Bridal has also been featured in Black Bride Magazine and Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine. But the recognition we treasure most is the trust our brides place in us. From the moment you walk through our doors to the moment you say YES, we are here to make your dress-shopping journey feel special.
What else can Platinum Bridal help me with? Your wedding day style doesn’t stop at the dress. We offer designer veils and bridal accessories, as well as special occasion gowns for mothers and other members of your wedding party. We also offer tuxedo and suit rentals and purchases through our partner, Jim’s Formalwear. When your gown is ready, our trusted professionals can also assist with expert bridal alterations and professional wedding gown preservation.
How should I prepare for my appointment? A little preparation helps you feel comfortable and allows you to focus on finding your gown. We recommend wearing full-coverage underwear and bringing something to tie up long hair. Since many of our gowns are fitted through the bodice and may reveal the underarm area, we also ask that you arrive showered and comfortably groomed. We take great care in keeping our sample gowns fresh, clean, and ready for every bride who visits us.
How far in advance should I purchase my wedding gown? We recommend purchasing your wedding gown 8 to 9 months before your wedding date. Most wedding gowns take approximately 6 to 7 months to arrive, and we recommend allowing an additional 2 to 3 months for alterations. Shopping early gives you the most flexibility in choosing your gown and allows plenty of time for your dress to arrive, be perfectly fitted, and be ready for your wedding day. Getting married sooner? Don’t worry! We also have options for brides with shorter timelines.
Do you offer wedding dress alteration services? Yes! We’ve partnered with an experienced seamstress who is located in the same building as Platinum Bridal, making it convenient for our brides to purchase their gown and have it professionally fitted all in one location. While our seamstress is an independent third-party professional, our partnership allows us to make the transition from gown shopping to alterations as seamless as possible. Your gown can easily be transferred between Platinum Bridal and the alterations studio, saving you an extra trip and making the process more convenient. Our brides always have a choice. You are welcome to use our partnered seamstress for your alterations, but you are never required to do so. And if you’re looking for an experienced seamstress, you do not have to purchase your wedding gown from Platinum Bridal to use her alteration services.
Do you carry veils and accessories? Yes! We offer a selection of designer veils and headpieces to complement your gown and complete your bridal look. Whether you envision something timeless and elegant or a little more dramatic, we’ll help you find those finishing touches that make your look uniquely yours.
What does Bridentity mean? Bridentity is your bridal identity. Wedding dress shopping is different from shopping for any other occasion and many brides find that it's like shopping for a whole new person. The bridal you is many times quite different from the everyday you.
