What dresses do you offer for the mother of the bride or groom? We offer sophisticated special occasion gowns from Montage, Ivonne D, and Cameron Blake by Mon Cheri. These collections are designed for the modern mother who appreciates timeless elegance, beautiful details, and a touch of fashion-forward style. Because we believe maturity never means sacrificing your panache, our selection offers beautiful options for women who want to feel confident, polished, and completely themselves.
How much do mother of the bride dresses cost? Our special occasion gowns range from $600 to $2,000. Your personal stylist will be happy to show you beautiful options throughout that range and help you find a gown that feels right for both your style and investment.
What sizes do you carry? Our mother of the bride and groom samples are available up to size 26W. Our collections offer a variety of silhouettes, necklines, sleeves, straps, and skirt shapes designed to complement a range of body types. Your stylist will help you find styles that make you feel confident and beautiful.
Who can book a Special Occasion Appointment? Our Special Occasion Appointment is perfect for the mother of the bride or groom, grandmothers, godmothers, aunts, or any woman searching for an elegant gown for a special occasion. Whether you're celebrating a wedding, milestone event, gala, or another formal occasion, we'd love to help you find a look that feels uniquely yours.
What happens during a Formal Dress Appointment? Your 1-hour and 15-minute private appointment is all about you. You'll work one-on-one with a personal stylist who will get to know your event, style preferences, and what you want to feel when you walk into the room. Together, you'll explore our selection and find a gown that complements your silhouette and reflects your personal style.
What colors are available? Our selection includes a beautiful range of rich jewel tones, elegant neutrals, and sophisticated shades, including sapphire, garnet, champagne, navy, and teal. If the bride has selected a wedding color palette, bring it with you. Your stylist can help you find a gown that complements the celebration while still feeling completely your own.
Can I bring family or friends to my appointment? Absolutely. We love celebrating with you! You're welcome to bring family or friends whose opinions and support you value. To help keep your appointment comfortable and focused, children under 12 are not permitted.
Can I wear these gowns to events other than a wedding? Absolutely. Our gowns are designed for special occasions beyond the wedding day. Whether you're attending a gala, formal celebration, milestone event, or another elegant affair, tell your stylist about the occasion and she'll help you find a gown that fits the moment beautifully.
How do I book my appointment? You can book your appointment online or call or text us at (303) 428-8000. Appointments are required so we can reserve dedicated time for you and provide the personal attention you deserve.
Where is Platinum Bridal located? We are located at: 400 E. 84th Ave., Suite W-201 Thornton, CO 80229 Our entrance is on the west side of the west building. We are located on the second floor of the North Valley Tech Center. If you're having trouble finding us, we recommend using Google Maps for the most convenient directions.
How far in advance should I purchase my Formal dress? We recommend purchasing your wedding gown 3-4 months before your event date. However, our designers keep dresses in stock so we can get most dresses in most sizes within 2 weeks of purchase Shopping early gives you the most flexibility in choosing your gown and allows plenty of time for your dress to arrive, be perfectly fitted, and be ready for your event
Do you offer Formal dress alteration services? Yes! We’ve partnered with an experienced seamstress who is located in the same building as Platinum Bridal, making it convenient for moms and anyone looking for a formal gown, to purchase their gown and have it professionally fitted all in one location. While our seamstress is an independent third-party professional, our partnership allows us to make the transition from dress shopping to alterations as seamless as possible. Your gown can easily be transferred between Platinum Bridal and the alterations studio, saving you an extra trip and making the process more convenient. Our clients always have a choice. You are welcome to use our partnered seamstress for your alterations, but you are never required to do so. And if you’re looking for an experienced seamstress, you do not have to purchase your formal gown from Platinum Bridal to use her alteration services.
Will I be able to try on every dress I see online? Not necessarily. The gowns featured on our website and designer pages are a preview of the collections and do not represent our entire in-store inventory. Some styles may not be available to try on in the boutique. Don't worry. Your stylist will help you explore the gowns currently available and introduce you to options that fit your style, event, and preferences.
